You have been pooing the wrong way your whole life and here’s how it should actually be done

It could take some getting used to.

JOE

We shit you not.

Outkast once sang “I know you like to th-ank your shit don’t st-ank,” and for years we thought that was the funniest comment ever about going to the toilet, until now.

There are many different phrases for the art of pooing and whether you say you’re taking a dump, going to brown town or shining a light one thing is for certain, you’ve probably been doing it wrong for your entire life.

According to news.com.au, a controversial TV chef who goes by the name of Paleo Pete believes that there is a better way to release the beast.

Pete Evans says that squatting is a lot more natural for our bodies and that the way we currently go to the toilet is in fact all wrong.

He’s so confident about this theory that he has even devised a special apparatus which we can use while sitting on the throne.

This lifts your knees up higher and helps create an effortless squatting motion without having to hover over the toilet and live in fear of missing the bowl.

According to Evans’ website, squatting leaves the anorectal angle in a perfect alignment which in turn means stools are eliminated quickly and smoothly from the colon.

The way we currently poo can cause diverticulosis which can inflame and infect the colon which causes abdominal pain and bloating.

It’s something that we have been trained to do since we were only little so making a change as big as this could take some getting used to.
