Nostalgia overload.
Dublin nightclub Workman’s have announced that they are hosting a night that is dedicated to the soundtrack of one of the most iconic video games of all time – ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro-Skater’.
The Violent Femmes, NOFX, Nas, The Offspring and Run-D.M.C are just some of the artists that were featured on the soundtrack of the game.
It’s going down on 8 February, and it will kick off at around 11.30pm.
The Workman’s Club say that you can expect all of the following on the night:
- DJs playing all the best tracks from Tony Hawk’s Pro-Skater through to American Wasteland and then some.
- Skate visuals on the big screen all night feat. classics such as Flip’s Extremely Sorry and CKY and Tony Hawk’s featured skaters like Eric Koston, Mike Vallely and Bam Margera.
- Lots of arguing over which Tony Hawk’s game is the best.
We’d be lying if we said we weren’t tempted to pop down.
If you’re interested, which we bet you are, you can buy tickets for €5 or find more information here.
Tony Hawk has been in the news in the last while. He took to Twitter recently to regale us with a story about a potential sequel to Space Jam that he was due to star in, entitled Skate Jam.
Weird, right?
