New week, new adventure

JOE

Take a break and go to an amazing event this weekend…

Sometimes, there’s nothing better than hopping into the car and forgetting all of life’s woes with a nice relaxing road trip.

It’s even better when the trip culminates with an unforgettable event.

So JOE and MSL have teamed up to bring you three options to suit every taste.

Here’s our pick for this weekend…

Enjoy Trad in Clare

There’s a debate flying around JOE Towers at the moment: ‘Where does the best Irish traditional music come from?’

The author of this article is firmly standing behind his choice of County Clare.

This weekend’s 21st Russell Memorial Festival in Doolin is a perfect example of the trad delights Clare has on offer.

Traditional music, set dancing and sean nós are all on the menu, so hop into the car and make your way to the Banner County.

Bring the kids to the theatre

If you’re looking for a family-friendly event in the capital, then look no further.

Warbling Door Productions’ ‘Tap Tales’ is being performed in Smock Alley Theatre this Saturday at 4pm and Sunday at 2pm.

This engaging production will not only educate children on global water issues, it will also give kids of all ages a chuckle.

Take in some comedy in Naas

Pat Shortt’s hilarious new show ‘Selfie’ visits Naas’ Moat theatre this Saturday.

Shortt has lost none of his talent for capturing Irish culture at its most hilarious.

We can’t wait to see his new show. It’s sure to be a blast.
