You’d be amazed by all the great things you can do in 14 days.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has informed us that when buying online, you are given a cooling-off period of 14 days where you can change your mind and cancel the order.
Our first response was, ‘that’s a cool fact.’
But being the ultra-competitive people that we are, we’ve tried to find even more impressive feats that can be achieved in 14 days or less.
Here are the results.
Travel Route 66
14 days is the amount of time most people take to travel across the famous highway. If you do it quickly, you might even have time to return that pair of pants you bought online when you finish it.
Prepare for a fight against Conor McGregor
Chad Mendes continuously states that he only had two weeks to prepare for the Conor McGregor fight at UFC 189.
He did get knocked out that night.
To be fair, we didn’t say you could win a fight against Conor McGregor.
Drive from Cape Town to London
Brigadier John Hemsley and his wife Lucy Hemsley drove from Cape Town to London in 14 days in a non-modified car. To put that journey into context, just take a look below.
“Are we there yet?” was said, roughly 80 times.
Watch your film make $1 Billion in the box office
Jurassic World passed the $1 Billion box office point in 13 Days. Impressive for a movie that is basically Andy from Parks and Rec and a lady running in heels.
Complete 10 marathons
Rik Vercoe holds the record as the fastest man to complete 10 marathons in 10 days. His total marathon time was 29 hr 54 min 56 seconds… so aim for around the 30 hr mark.
