Miley Cyrus has to take some credit for this right?

Some very familiar words have made the grade in the latest announcement by the Oxford Dictionaries online version. The most topical is ‘twerking’ which, if you didn’t know by now, is now infamous thanks to Miley Cyrus’s performance of it at the VMAs earlier this week. The dictionary definition by the way, in case your mother asks you, is: The twerk, v.: dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.' The selfie, virtually the only photo that exists on Instagram, has also made the grade while the end result of a massive feed, the big gut known as a ‘food baby’ is now also in the online dictionary. Other terms like the online currency ‘bitcoin’ and the half-phone, half-tablet bit of tech called a ‘phablet’ is also in, though we don’t think anybody has ever actually used that word.
