TWITTER: J.K. Rowling has politely turned down an invitation to this very raunchy charity event

The Harry Potter author declined this alluring invitation.

Exeter University are about to hold their rather unique annual Safer Sex Ball, where attendees are asked to show up in their underwear.

The proceeds from the shindig are given to sexual health and HIV charities.

Rowling is a former student of the university and so her attendance was requested by the event’s organiser via an interview with The Tab:

“If you’re reading this and fancy re-visiting Exeter, hit us up Jo.”

As reported by Mashable, Rowling responded very politely to the invitation via her Twitter account:
