Bad news first: there were no Irish winners of the €51.5 million Euromillions jackpot of Friday 9 March.

Good news next: there were also no non-Irish winners of that same jackpot, which means it rolls over to a bigger jackpot for Tuesday.

Just in case you wanted to double-check, the winning numbers were 9, 14, 21, 32 and 44, and the bonus numbers were 1 and 12.

There were no Irish winners of any of the top three prizes in the main draw, with the biggest Irish winner being one player who matched 4 numbers plus the 2 bonus numbers, and they’ll be taking home €3,487.

However, there were two big winners of the Plus draw!

The Euromillions Plus draw winning numbers were 4, 8, 10, 17 and 38, and two Irish players managed to match all five numbers, which means they have both woke up on Saturday morning with an extra €500,000 to their names.

The exact locations of where the winning tickets were sold is yet to be disclosed, but the Lotto website confirms that one of the tickets was sold in Dublin, and another was sold in the south of the country.
