These folks have obviously never been to Galway…
A rain ‘storm’ hit LA on Wednesday and it was such an unusual event that one local TV station sent a crew out to film the unfolding carnage. Sadly for them, it really was nothing to get too worried about, even by California standards, so the resulting report features some of the funniest interviews with the public we’ve ever seen.
In fairness to them, LA usually gets about one inch of rain in November (Galway averages over four) so a rain storm for them is akin to a heatwave in Ireland but the weather wasn’t nearly as bad as the reporter was hoping.
She does her best to generate some drama, but to Irish eyes, we wouldn’t even bother putting a coat on in this weather.
