Known as ‘The Teardrop of Ireland,’ Fastnet Lighthouse is located 13km off the coast of Cork and was known as the last sight of Ireland for emigrants sailing to the United States of America.
This footage, courtesy of Peter Cox, gets as close as possible to the small islet that houses the lighthouse.
The effect is haunting and fans of Game of Thrones will love this, given its close resemblance to the landscape of the show.
