The new Star Trek movie is coming out soon and as part of a new and cleaver marketing campaign, Audi have pitted the new Spock against the old one using a brand new Audi S7 and a Mercedes CLS. No prizes for guessing which one wins...

Here's what Audi have to say on YouTube: "What happens when old school goes head to head with new school in a battle of speed and wits? Leonard Nimoy takes on newbie Zachary Quinto and his all-new Audi S7."

In fairness, it’s a great advert and it’s filled with a whole rake of Star Trek references. We also get to see the legendary Leonard Nimoy dropping the F-Bomb and smack talking with the new Spock, Zachary Quinto.

We also get to see a glimpse of Audi’s new self-driving car, which was pretty... fascinating, as the good man would say himself.
