The Norwegian videographer Steffen Tronstad must have thought that he was in a safe enough viewing spot at the Norwegian Rally Championship in Søgne, but then again, anything can happen in rally.
The wheel smacks into Tronstad at 70km/h, but thankfully, he was only left with a small bruise on his stomach and “a sore shoulder”.
Speaking on STTR.no, Tronstad said: “I was to focused on the car to even notice the wheel coming at me at 70 km/h (45 mph). I will pay more attention next time something like this happens.”
The angle below, captured by Injetion.no, shows the force with which the wheel smacks into Tronstad. Looking at this angle, he was certainly lucky to walk away with only a bruise and a sore shoulder…
