Homelife

This is our new favourite thing...

As a kid JOE was obsessed with remote control cars and was an absolutely King* at Scalextric. *we lost every single race... Despite all the losses, we still loved the game because we were in control of a car, a tiny car yes, but a car nonetheless and it was hours of fun. Now that we've grown up (in body) a bit, controlling cars or vehicles with a remote control doesn't appeal to us as much. Well, not unless it's a FULL-SIZE REMOTE CONTROL MASSEY FERGUSON! Clare man Michael Shannon has modified his Massey Ferguson MF250 so it can be controlled by a remote and there's more. If a field is digitally mapped, you can let this tractor off by itself and it'll spread fertiliser, roll fields, etc. using GPS co-ordinates. Amazing. The video appeared on the Irish Farmers Journal website and after watching it, we really want a go... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLgz7x7mH7I Hat-tip to Maura from the Irish Farmers Journal for sending the video on.
