The ONE Campaign recently released this rather interesting video called “The Biggest Heist You’ve Never Heard Of,” and it takes a look at how a trillion dollars ($1,000,000,000,000) is being siphoned out of developing countries every single year.
Speaking about the video, the ONE Campaign said: “We’re not talking about international aid, which is making a real difference, but money taken from developing countries’ own budgets and economies.
“Shady deals for natural resources like oil and minerals; anonymous shell companies used to launder dirty money; illegal tax evasion: it all adds up to a global scandal that has to be stopped.”
