An escape artist by the name of Anthony Martin recently managed to escape from a locked coffin that was plummeting to the earth at over 200km/h.
Escaping from a locked coffin seems tricky enough, but escaping from a locked coffin while skydiving from 4,500m (that’s 14,500ft to anyone stuck in the 90’s) seems next to impossible. Not for 47-year-old Anthony Martin, as that’s exactly what he did this week…

Speaking about the jump Anthony said, “I didn’t feel any force, but what I felt was a lot of jostling. It seemed to me like I had a glimpse of the ground for a second then it [the door] came back and I had to give it another push.
“I didn’t know where I was... but I was hypnotised as I watched the box falling behind me,” he said.
It’s not the first time that Anthony has pulled off this amazing stunt. He first escaped from a locked coffin while skydiving 25-years ago.
Well, everyone needs a pastime, right?
