Flight sees Denzel Washington take to the drink as a pilot who must face his demons when he crash-lands his plane

Even loaded up on booze, Denzel Washington’s Whip Whitaker is a pilot with a difference. The difference is he can land a faulty plane that no one else can, even when drunk. In the aftermath of successfully landing the plane, his employers are mightily interested in his blood testing positive for alcohol.

John Goodman is Whip’s drug dealer and Don Cheadle is his union lawyer. Robert Zemeckis, of Back to the Future, Forest Gump and Castaway fame directed Flight. See some of the stars and the director have a red carpet chat at the UK premiere last night.
