This may send shivers down your back…

The video below features the exact moment when 19-year-old Hari Farlie fractured his spine in two places after voluntarily sitting on a homemade ‘ejector seat’ made from a car’s airbag.

WARNING: The footage contains some very strong language…

According to Farlie’s friends who posted the video to Facebook, the 19-year-old will now have to wear a back brace for two months while his back heals.

Speaking about the incident, the video’s uploader, Kyle Lyons, said: “We thought he would have bruised his coccyx, we didn’t expect him to break his back.

“In the end we picked him up and took him to the hospital in my mate’s van.

“He got back home yesterday, he only stayed in overnight. He seems to be doing alright, he’s got crutches and a back brace.

“But he’s alright, it could have been worse. He could have been paralysed apparently. We won’t be doing any more pranks for a few months.”

After seeing that video we don’t think we need to tell you again, but we will: DON’T try this at home…
