Mothers day is this Sunday and we wager that Irish people all around the 32 counties are currently wracking their brains to solve that eternal question, what can I get my mam?
When you were younger, a terribly made breakfast in bed was sufficient but things get a little bit harder as you get older because work and other commitments take hold.
This Irishman has probably given his mother the best gift possible though after he returned to see his mam after three years of living abroad.
The kind people at Lidl arranged for this Irishman living abroad to return home to Irish soil but he wasn’t alone on this journey.
His partner came along and so did his son. You would have to be made of stone to not mile at the moment when a grandmother meets her grandson for the very first time.
