The Hangover is one of the best comedy flicks released in the last decade, but could you imagine if it was recreated to look like a horror flick? This trailer will give you a good idea.

Todd Phillips’ 2009 flick about a stag night in Vegas that goes disastrously wrong is one of the most recognised, most quotable and most hilarious comedies of this millennium, but when you examine it in greater detail, parts of the movie wouldn’t look amiss in an incredibly dark horror flick.

The mass blackouts, the tiger turning up in the hotel room, the gunfights, Doug’s mysterious disappearance; all of those plotlines wouldn’t look out of place in a Wes Craven-style horror movie or at least a very dark thriller and that is why the re-edited trailer, complete with a soundtrack you’ll recognise from the recent Batman movies, is so believable.

Trying not to laugh at Zach Galifianakis does require a fair bit of effort, though…
