Summer holidays are a very special time.
There are the books you’ll never read, the exotic foods you’ll be too scared to taste, the foreign language you won’t even attempt to speak and the many, many sights that will stay unseen while you watch Netflix on some dodgy Spanish Wi-Fi.
Before all that, before you even leave Ireland, there’s the absolute chaos of getting out the door and making sure you haven’t left the big light on.
It’s like that famous scene in Home Alone, but funnier. We all lived in a house like this growing up.
