Ferrari have unveiled their latest supercar, the 458 Spider. And guess what? She’s a beaut.

The latest supercar from the Italian motoring giant was unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show last month, but tell me a car that doesn’t look better when traversing around the hills of Italy such as in the video above.

Interestingly, for the history buffs amongst you, the route taken by the supercar includes the legendary track of the “Parma – Poggio di Berceto” hill climb, where Enzo Ferrari participated in his first race as a driver in the year 1919.

For those of you interested in such details, the 458 Spider is equipped with a 4.5 litre V8 engine, generating a total output of 570 horsepower at 9.000 rpm and a peak torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6.000 rpm, mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission.

It can go from 0-62 in 3.4 seconds and has a not too shabby top speed of 198 miles per hour nearly 320 kilometres per hour).

The Ferrari 458 Spider is set to be released on this side of the world in January or February of next year, with an asking price a little in excess of €200,000.

Belated Christmas present, perhaps?
