Do you hate parking your car in tight spaces? Well, with Ford’s new Fully Assisted Parking Aid technology you don’t need to be in the car to park it.

Parking assists are nothing new in the motoring world (see here), but the lads at Ford are currently working on a new technology that could really take a lot of hassle out of manoeuvring into tight parking spots. The technology is still in the prototype phase but it has been built into a fully functioning Ford Focus for testing purposes, which you’ll see in the video below. http://youtu.be/dQjntXvMVTE Speaking about the new technology, Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president Ford Research and Innovation, said: "Fully Assisted Parking Aid could provide additional benefit to drivers with reduced mobility, including disabled and elderly drivers, as well as customers who face difficult reverse-parking manoeuvres in busy and narrow streets every day." It would certainly come in handy, but how much extra will it cost? We'll have to wait and see...
