The bravery shown from the truck driver in this clip is simply amazing…
Every now and then you come across something that will renew your faith in humanity; well, this is one of those moments folks.
Following an accident on a motorway, a woman and her one-year-old granddaughter were trapped in their burning car while the flames spread closer towards them. But as we watch in the video, one truck driver manages to save the day by rescuing the pair from the car, just moments before the flames intensify.
The uploader of the video, steakbbq, claims the driver is his father and stated that the incident actually occurred on the 11th of August this month.
“Luckily my father had a fire extinguisher on hand to fight back the flames and give enough time to pull the driver and her 1 year old granddaughter out of the flaming vehicle. Once the passengers are free from the vehicle the flames rapidly grow in strength consuming the vehicle.
“Thankfully my father had the presence of mind, bravery, and forethought of carrying a fire extinguisher, to be the first person on scene to risk his own life in order to possibly save another and to inspire others and lead them into taking action.
“Everyone involved was okay, the driver of the vehicle suffered a broken leg and all others had only minor injuries.”
Thankfully, everybody was OK and fair play to the members of the public who intervened to rescue the trapped passengers.
