We have to hand it to Ford on this one; recreating some of the biggest hitting videos of the year in their own stop motion homage to Ken Block is a great idea and it was executed quite well.
Here’s what Ford had to say about it: “Just when you thought you had nailed your list of favourite videos for 2014 – along comes Mental Block. The stop motion drift star is back with YuleTube – the third Snowkhana video from Ford Europe.
“Inspired by the exploits of Gymkhana star Ken Block, his near namesake is back behind the wheel of a model car, and causing a small amount of havoc.
“Cotton wool exhaust fumes, the inexplicable presence of Star Wars figures, and a starring role for a Mr F. Christmas? It all adds up to your new favourite video of the year.
“And who knows? If high-kicking Belgians doing the splits, snowmen who like warm hugs, and sub-zero dive-bombing also figured on your list – then some of this might look a little familiar.”
