Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the incident, which occurred last week in Texas on one of Huston’s new light rail train lines.
According to the video’s uploader: “METRO Police released dramatic surveillance video showing a train colliding with an SUV. The driver tried to beat the train and went around the crossing gates at Fannin and Naomi on Wednesday, according to METRO. Two adults and two children were taken to the hospital and were expected to be OK.”
It was an absolutely idiotic move on the driver’s part and we can safely assume that they never saw this .gif from an old Top Gear episode…
