Shot in Canada, not Russia, this video has been posted as a warning to young motorcyclists to pay attention to the road.
While everyone should pay attention while they are driving, it is particularly important that motorcyclists do. It doesn’t take much to get knocked off and if you are travelling at speed, the end result can be very grim indeed.
Luckily for this Canadian motorcyclist, it all turned out okay, but his helmet-cam video has been posted by the Canadian police as a warning to others.
The unnamed motorbiker spots an empty bit of road and decides to see how fast he can go. Unfortunately for him, as he looks down at the speedo, a passing train startles a bear, who runs out onto the road, right into the path of the bike.
The rider flips over quite a number of times and he was very lucky to end up with just a few broken ribs and case of concussion. The police advise that the bear walked away unhurt.
We mightn’t have bears here, but the message is the same, keep your eyes on the road…
