We all remember in Shawshank Redemption when both Brooks and Red are released into the world after decades locked away and their intense struggle... well, this is the real life version. Otis Johnson spent 44 years in prison for the attempted murder of a police officer. He was incarcerated when he was 25 and released at the age of 69. This video shows his reaction to re-entering society in New York and the combination of bewilderment and adaptation that he has gone through.
