The west of Ireland is renowned as one of the best surfing spots in the world for a reason and further evidence of just why that’s the case is provided in the amazing footage below.
The short Northcore film, titled ‘Samhain’, was filmed over two days in Clare, primarily at Laurens, a spot located directly under the 700-foot high Cliffs of Moher, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

The surfers you can see tackling some truly spectacular waves are Peter Conroy, Seamus O’Riain, Fionan Cronin, Luke Underwood, Ryan Watts, with Matt Strathern and Kevin L Smith doing a great job on packaging the footage into a stunning piece of work.
Cold as the water might be, watching this is nearly enough to convince you to jump into the Atlantic at the earliest opportunity.
