One of the main objects of a stag do is to embarrass the groom-to-be and all the better if it transpires that he sets himself up for the fall and his mates can capture video evidence that can be repeatedly re-visited as a source of amusement for years to come.
We’re not sure if Marc Carroll, affectionately known to his mates as Butsy, was the stag in question when a group of Irish lads visited Pag Island in Croatia recently, but he bravely put his body and his dignity on the line when the lads decided to their hand at a spot of water-skiing.
Butsy ended up providing great hilarity when said attempt ended in predictable fashion, with Marc ending up face-first in the water and everyone else busting a gut laughing as he struggled to get to his feet.
Some might say it’s a little bit harsh to be laughing at his expense rather than checking on his welfare, but as anyone who’s been on a stag do knows, sympathy isn’t exactly an emotion that’s in plentiful supply; we’re sure Butsy understands.
