This Italian supercar caught fire on a busy London street after the driver decided to do a bit of showboating by revving the car’s engine…
After the back of the car catches fire, the driver tries to beat the flames out with a rolled up t-shirt, but when this doesn’t work he jumps back into the car and floors it up the road… as you do don’t.
Now, in fairness to the lad, we can just imagine what he was thinking when he decided to drive off with the back of his car covered in flames: ‘If I drive really fast down the road, maybe the wind will help to put out the flames?’
However, we don’t think adding more fuel to the fire (literally) is the best way to put out a supercar blaze. Unsurprisingly, the Aventador driver’s plan doesn’t work, and it certainly didn’t work on his second attempt.
Sadly, there’s no word of what happened to the Aventador in question, but we can’t imagine it was cheap fix…
UPDATE: We’ve just been sent in more footage of the flaming Lambo spotted in Kinghtsbridge, London, thanks to Santosh S. and it shows the driver eventually putting out the flames with a bottle of water and what appears to be half a bottle of Mountain Dew. Check it out…
