LUAS launched their ‘What’s the Harm’ campaign today…
The light rail service company have released pretty frightening footage of accidents involving the LUAS and cars, jeeps, trucks and other vehicles that have taken place across Dublin.
The campaign comes after a rise in the number of collisions on tram lines in the capital. There were 38 collisions between motorists and trams in 2013, while in 2012 there were 24 collisions. There have been 13 collisions so far this year.
LUAS are warning people to be more careful when they’re approaching junctions as the newly released video shows some reckless drivers breaking red lights and causing accidents.
