A man in Brazil had a lucky escape after being freed from a grave in Brazil thanks to a passer-by who was shocked to see a man attempting to escape from his underground nightmare.
The shocking incident happened a week ago but footage is only coming to light now where one woman got the shock of her life when she heard noises and saw the ground moving at a cemetery on the outskirts of Sao Paolo.
“I was terrified to see a man, who I thought was dead, trying to get out of the grave,” she told the media. “He had his head and hands out and was moving his arms around, trying to get out.”
Record TV says the man has suffered from psychiatric problems according to his nephew, and how he ended up in the grave is still unknown, with speculation he may have been attacked and dumped into the grave afterwards.
Video footage shows emergency services scraping dirt from the man's body, which is still buried up to the chest, before hauling him out of the grave. His injuries were not serious and released the same day he was admitted.
