Some McDonald’s restaurants in the US feature a pretty nifty service called ‘Create Your Taste’ that allows you to create your own gourmet burger by choosing the ingredients from a touch screen panel.
One man, who goes by the name of Moshe Tamssot, recently decided to push the ‘Create Your Taste’ service to the limits by making an absolutely massive 1.7kg burger.

The ‘Big Max’ burger features two beef patties (because that’s the maximum you can pick), 30 slices of cheese, guacamole, chilli lime tortilla strips, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, red onions, crinkle-cut pickles and grilled onions. Not to mention a rake of sauces.
The burger came in at a price of $24.89 and weighed 3.8 pounds (1.7kg). Tamssot’s 'Big Max' was so big that the manager had to bring it out in two portions and said: “That’s as big as we could make it without it falling apart.”
To be fair, that’s exactly what you want to hear after ordering a $24 burger…
We'll take two, please. Just don't tell us the calorie count.
