Don’t mess with the beard.
Men with beards are rightly very protective of their facial fluff; they put a whole lot of work into putting it there and although it might be, ahem, dirtier than a toilet, it’s something to be proud of all the same.
A lot of bearded men, therefore, will get a bit prickly when said beard is trifled with, as was the case when a representative of Jack Jones TV went around Belfast recently tickling the beards of random men, all of whom reacted in very different ways.
He’s lucky he didn’t get a slap off one lad in particular and it won’t take you long to find out which lad we’re on about.
