VIDEO: One of the best farming themed Christmas decorations you’ll see in Ireland

A Tipp-top tradition

Paul Moore

A Tipp-top tradition.

You may remember a story that we brought you a few weeks ago about the local Tipperary tradition called ‘Christmas Tractors of Carrick-on-Suir’.

It’s pretty self-explanatory but for those of you who don’t know, it involves 15 tractors completely decked out in a brilliant array of Christmas lights.

While we brought you some very cool footage of these tractors parading through the town, some of you may have wondered if this is just a parting pleasure or do these John (Rein) Deere’s or (Christ) Massey Ferguson’s continue to spread some festive cheer.

I think this drone footage that was sent into us by JOE reader Melissa Slevin of the Toohey’s home in Borrisokane, Tipperary perfectly answers that question.

Take a look.
