It’s not often we get the chance to go water-skiiing in Ireland, so these lads in Kerry lapped up that all too rare opportunity during the spell of good weather in recent weeks.
If the rain in the last few days is anything to go by the Irish climate appears to have returned to normal, but during the unexpected yet very welcome spell of warm weather Irish people took to the water in their droves, whether it was at the beach, at a lake or at one of the many makeshift outdoor swimming pools.
Kerry native Michael O’Donnell, now living in London, was home for a few days and took advantage of the chance to get the boat and the water skis out while filming the entire experience on a GoPro camera.
Judging by the one-handed skiing of some of the participants and the ability of one in particular to give the finger to the camera during his ride, the lads are well able to handle themselves and fingers crossed they’ll have the weather to do it again before the summer’s out.
