Video: ‘Ravaged by the Leprechaun.’ Terrible erotic fiction as written by Irish men (NSFW)

And we’re not talking about Alan Shatter.

Erotic fiction was once something that was confined to the darkest corners of the library, but thanks largely to 50 Shades of Grey, it has enjoyed something of a revival of late.

The ability to source erotic material anonymously over the Internet might have something to do with it as well, but in any case, there is a vast supply of erotica available these days.

Or so we’re told.

We’re also told, or we’ve learned from the lads at Epic News, that the writing in some of these titles isn’t of the highest quality; in fact, it’s so bad it’s very often hilarious.

In their latest sketch, Peter and Chris from Epic News not only examine just how bad it is, but even have a stab at writing their own erotic novel, imaginatively titled ‘Ravaged by the Leprechaun’.

They also enlisted the help of well-known Irish actress Ruth McCabe to read out excerpts from some of the worst examples of erotic literature as well as their own masterpiece and it makes for a very entertaining four and a half minutes.
