Science Week is officially up and running and who better to explain it than RTÉ’s outspoken rugby pundit George Hook.
Running from the 10th until the 17th, the aim of Science Week is to promote the relevance of science, technology, engineering and maths in our everyday lives. Not only that, but to also demonstrate their importance to the future development of Irish society and to the economy.
With that in mind, Risteard Cooper decided to get into character to highlight the ‘Ego Check’ and the ‘Pompousographer’, with the man himself also giving the video the seal of approval.
It may get your scientific juices flowing, and if nothing else, will provide a cheap laugh at Hook's expense.
