This Russian advertising campaign is being blamed for causing over 500 car crashes in the country’s capital in just one single day.
The campaign in question featured a large picture of a woman cupping her breasts with a slogan that read: ‘They Attract,’ placed across her nipples.
The massive image was placed on the side of 30 trucks, which were then sent on a mission to cover as much of Moscow as possible.

The company behind the campaign, Sarafan Advertising Agency, said they are hoping to bring a new advertising format onto the market, encouraging companies to place their ads on the sides of trucks.
A spokesman for Sarafan said: “We wanted to draw attention to this new format with this campaign.”
The campaign certainly did draw the attention of the public to the trucks, but it seems to have drawn a little bit too much attention. That’s because drivers distracted by the adverts reportedly caused 517 collisions in just one day.
According to reports, the police were eventually sent out to round up and impound the offending trucks until the image was removed. You have to hand it to Sarafan Advertising Agency; at least they’re staying abreast of their competition… we’ll get our coat.
