Django Unchained is Tarantino’s latest impressive movie venture, and here’s a behind the scenes featurette of the man and his methods.

by Genna Patterson

Django Unchained tells the story of a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) who frees a slave, Django (Jamie Foxx) in return for help pointing out his latest targets. The two then set about freeing Django's wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from Candiland, the most notorious plantation in the south, run by Calvin Candie (Leo DiCaprio).

While it may have been a surprise to see Tarantino turn his sights to a spaghetti western, we aren’t in the least surprised that's its amazing, and incredibly funny despite the depictions of slavery before the civil war.

Can the man do anything he puts his mind to? It certainly seems so. The featurette includes interviews with the Django Unchained cast – Leo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Don Johnson. It shows Tarantino’s unique film making methods, using one camera and film instead of digital.

If you feel like marveling at the man-genius, check out the video.
