‘Black Friday’ in the US is the first Friday following Thanksgiving Day and it’s often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season when retailers drop their prices to ridiculously low prices. Some shops even reduce items to as low as 90 per cent off the RRP…
With bargains that good people literally kill to get their hands on them (see here), so the day has been shadowed by a lot of violence in recent times.
However, that hasn’t stopped the US clothing brand Rampage from using a supermodel catfight for their latest online advert, which hasn’t gone down too well with some online commentators.
They use the tagline: “Ladies, don’t let it get ugly. There’s enough to go around”, but we doubt that’s going to stop bargain hungry shoppers this coming Friday.
