A winter storm named Sven hit parts of northern Europe over the weekend, but a high rising tide wasn’t stopping this bus driver from getting on with his job…
The Scandinavians are well used to cold, harsh, storm-like weather conditions, so it’s no surprise that the rising seawater didn’t faze this bus driver in Helsingborg, Sweden.
A local named Martin Johnson, who was out watching winter storm Sven’s effects with his dad when they noticed the water bound bus, managed to record the video above before the driver made off down the road and into the town’s centre.
Speaking about the scene, Martin said, “I was surprised. I did not expect that he would do it, it’s salt water which can cause enormous damage to the bus’s engine.”
While it’s a pretty ballsy move, it’s not the first time we’ve seen a bus driver taking on, and beating, a flood…
