Take some innocent birds, add in some funny lines delivered in Cork accents and you have a mini-comedy classic.
As shown by Nick Aardman’s Creature Comforts, there is something very amusing about human voices coming out of animals. Don’t ask us why, it just is.
That’s why this video, posted on a YouTube channel called PROCEventGuide, linked to the People’s Republic of Cork site, works so well. Featuring all the feathered folk you expect to see on or near the famous Lough in Cork city, ducks, pigeons and a few others all get a chance to shine here.
The language is a little spicy at times so if you have little ones in the room, or are still in work, stick the headphones in.
