VIDEO: The Cork DJ who pranked the Jeremy Kyle Show turns his attention to Top Gear

Conor Heneghan

Ross Browne has some pair of balls on him.

After ringing up The Jeremy Kyle Show pretending to be a prime candidate for its unique brand of crisis management, Browne decided to throw his hat into the ring for the Top Gear gig following Chris Evans’ resignation.

Browne, AKA Packie, found the BBC folks harder to crack than their UTV counterparts, but he wasn’t going to take no for an answer, even pretending to be Matt LeBlanc at one stage in an effort to get through to the BBC bigwigs.

We don’t expect Packie to be featuring on Top Gear anytime soon, but if the BBC find a more persistent interviewee then they’ll be doing very well indeed.
