There has been quite a bit of talk about the all-new FIA Formula E Championship, which starts in a little over nine months’ time in Beijing, China, but the Formula E’s demonstration at this year’s CES expo left a lot to be desired…
Instead of tearing the car around a racetrack (like BMW and their self-drifting M235i) the Formula E car just did a few donuts in a car park outside the CES expo in Las Vegas in front of a crowd of tech heads.
Not only was the presentation a little underwhelming, but the sound of the car is also a little bit worrying. It’s not exactly a sweet sounding noise and can you just imagine what it’s going to sound like when there are 20 E cars out on track? Earplugs may be required…
