The lads at Newcastle Brown Ale had some grand plans for a Super Bowl advert, but they couldn’t stump up the cash in time so they made this ‘Mega Huge Football Game Ad’ instead…
Sadly, some companies, such as Newcastle Brown Ale, simply can’t afford the crazy price tags that come with creating a Super Bowl ad (or so they’d lead you to believe), so they have to improvise with a little creative marketing.
Instead of making a Super Bowl ad that would inevitably cost thousands, if not millions, of dollars, Newcastle Brown Ale came up with some ideas for a ‘Mega Huge Football Game Ad’, featuring Anna Kendrick & Keyshawn Johnson, but all they were left with was two ‘behind the scenes’ videos.

It’s actually a great bit of marketing for Newcastle Brown Ale’s ‘If We Made It’ campaign, as they’re blatantly piggybacking on all of the other Super Bowl ads that are currently doing the rounds as of late, but for half the price that other companies would have paid and with no shame at all.
