Footage has emerged of the shocking moment the speeeding train came off the rails near Santiago de Compostela in Galicia to claim the lives of at least 78 people.
The horrific footage shows the speeding train come around the corner before violently coming off the tracks to claim at least 78 lives and injure 130 more, with 20 said to be in a serious condition.
The Spanish government has decreed three days of official mourning and we showed earlier some of the pictures of the scenes in Galicia as rescue workers and emergency services worked tirelessly at the scene of the crash.
The video clearly demonstrates the speed of the train, which was believed to be clocking 190km/h in an 80km/h speed limit, and makes for grim viewing.
