If thrill-seeking is your thing, then you might want to book a holiday to Gurnee in Illinois this summer, because one hell of a roller-coaster has just opened in the Six Flags theme park in the town.
Quite appropriately named Goliath, the roller-coaster travels at 72 miles per hour and includes a 180 foot drop as well as more twists and turns than you’ll find in a pothole-filled Irish boreen.
There’s nothing boring about Goliath, however and after nine months of construction, it was finally opened to adrenaline-fuelled visitors to Six Flags today and judging by their reaction, they weren’t disappointed.
