Clowns are supposed to be fun, why are they so damn scary?
We can think of few things scarier than a creepy clown walking towards us, even if we know it’s only a guy playing a prank.
We’ve a particularly violent case of ‘coulrophobia’ (which is a fear of clowns according to Google) but to be honest we think it’s more a fear of being brutally murdered by a psychotic mask-wearing reincarnation of Michael Myers.
As part of Horror Mania Fest in Limerick, one man dressed up as a sadistic clown and roamed the streets generally scaring the sh*te out of people.
Even though this is all a bit of fun, he managed to startle quite a few people and seemed to have a particular interest in standing around corners before jumping out shouting in what is surely most people’s worst nightmare…
