Here’s a great mini-documentary from the guys at Thinkhouse TV that takes a look into the culture of tattoos in Ireland today. If you’ve got a tattoo, or you’re thinking of getting one, this is definitely worth the watch.
Bob Dylan once said ‘the times they are a-changin’, and that’s true for many aspects of Irish society. ‘Skin Deep’ is the second instalment of Thinkhouse’s ‘Youth Culture Series’, and it takes an intimate look at the culture of tattoos in Ireland today.
It’s a bit of a lengthy video, but it’s definitely worth the watch.
The folks themselves describe it with the following: “Skin Deep explores the history and future of tattoo culture with artists from Dublin Ink, Spilled Ink and Dragon Tattoo. The documentary also features original music from Irish artists Gavin Friday, Bill Blood and Nanu Nanu.”
