If you’ve immediately gone to search the internet to try and find one of these babies before even checking out this video that’s fine, we completely understand.
It’s around this time of year that thousands of students are either returning to, or just starting out in college so you can be fairly sure that there are going to be some pretty wild parties taking place in university towns throughout the country over the next few weeks.
We’re not sure if they exist in Ireland but if they did, we’d wager there’d be a few college houses trying to get their hands on an equivalent of the octobong, an eight-hose beer bong that can distribute approximately 50 beers made by one guy in Dunedin, New Zealand, over the summer holidays for himself and his flatmates to have fun with.
We’re not encouraging irresponsible drinking or anything but it is hard not to admire the mechanics of the contraption; that’s an impressive amount of work gone into a device which functions solely to get whoever uses it langered.
Needless to say, it fulfils its purpose and it gets more than a bit messy for the guinea pigs brave enough to give it a go; there’s probably only one man could ever do it justice…
